Walnut and Banana Loaf

    Step1

    Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius

    Step2

    Chop and roast walnuts for 10 minutes

    Step3

    Mix honey, bananas and eggs

    Step4

    Add salt, then oil and milk

    Step5

    Sift bicarb, baking powder and flour

    Step6

    Add to banana mixture and continue to stir for 5 minutes

    Step7

    Add walnuts, combine and put in a 25cm x 12cm loaf tin

    Step8

    Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 1 hour and 10 minutes

    Step9

    Remove from the oven if cooked and let sit for 10 minutes to cool before removing from the tin

    Step10

    Leave to cool completely before cutting and serving.
